Welcome to Receipto. By accessing or using the Receipto app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Agreement to Terms

By using Receipto, you accept and agree to comply with these terms. These terms form a binding agreement between you and AppWrapp LLC, the creators of Receipto.

2. Description of Service

Receipto is a receipt scanning and organization tool. It allows you to:

  • Scan and digitize paper receipts using the camera or gallery
  • Auto-extract key details like merchant, amount, date, and currency
  • Store and organize receipt data locally on your device
  • Sync your data with optional anonymous or full accounts for backup and cross-device access
  • Export receipts for reporting or sharing with accountants

Receipto is designed as an offline-first app. Cloud syncing is optional.

3. User Accounts

Receipto offers three usage modes:

  1. Offline mode – No account required. Data stays on your device.
  2. Anonymous sync – A temporary anonymous account is created. Data is encrypted and stored securely.
    • If the app is uninstalled or inactive for 90 days, the anonymous account and its data are permanently deleted.
  3. Full account – Users may register an account (e.g., with email) to enable backup, cross-device syncing, and future desktop/web access.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login information for full accounts.

4. Subscription Terms

Receipto offers optional premium features via subscriptions or one-time purchases:

  • Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly or yearly basis, with prices shown in-app.
  • Free trials may be available for certain plans.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
  • Payment is processed through your Apple ID account.
  • Prices may change with advance notice.

Lifetime access may be offered as a one-time purchase.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Use Receipto for lawful, personal, or business purposes only.
  • Avoid uploading irrelevant, unlawful, or sensitive data not related to receipts.
  • Not reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the App.
  • Comply with all local laws and App Store guidelines.

6. Data Usage and Storage

  • In offline mode, all data remains on your device.
  • In anonymous sync, encrypted data is stored until your anonymous account expires (90 days of inactivity).
  • In full account mode, encrypted data is stored until you request deletion.
  • You retain ownership of your receipts and data at all times.
  • Deleting the app will remove offline data from your device.

7. Intellectual Property

Receipto, its features, designs, branding, and underlying code are the property of AppWrapp LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We may restrict or remove access to paid features without notice for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse or misuse of the subscription system
  • Fraudulent or illegal use of the App

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Receipto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last Updated" date will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through the App or App Store listing.
