Terms of Service

4.1 Available Plans

Receipto offers the following subscription tiers:

Exact feature limits per plan are listed at receipto.app/pricing. We reserve the right to adjust plan features with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4.2 Billing Platforms

Receipto subscriptions are available via:

• Web Subscriptions: Billed directly by Stripe (monthly or annual billing).
• iOS Mobile Subscriptions: Purchased via Apple In-App Purchase through the App Store. These subscriptions are governed by Apple's terms and are billed by Apple, not AppWrapp, LLC.

Note: Receipto is currently available on iOS only. Android is not currently supported.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

• Web (Stripe): Manage subscriptions in your Receipto account settings or via the Stripe billing portal.
• iOS (App Store): Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Receipto.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

• Web: Cancel via the Stripe billing portal in your Receipto account settings.
• iOS: Cancel in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Receipto.
• Access Continues: After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
• No Partial Refunds: Canceling mid-cycle does not entitle you to a prorated refund (see Section 5).

5.1 Web Subscriptions (Stripe)

Payments are non-refundable.

• We do not provide refunds, credits, or prorated refunds for partial subscription periods.
• If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the billing cycle, but no refund is issued.

Exceptions: Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in cases of technical failure, billing errors, or other extraordinary circumstances. However, refunds are not guaranteed and should not be expected.

5.2 Mobile Subscriptions (Apple App Store)

Subscriptions purchased via the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy. AppWrapp, LLC cannot process refunds for App Store purchases.

We have no control over Apple's refund decisions.

5.3 Subscription Start

Paid subscriptions begin immediately upon purchase. No refunds are provided for partial months or years.

6.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Receipto. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

6.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Account Sharing: Sharing your account with others outside of your team workspace violates these Terms and may result in termination.

Team Accounts: If you are an Owner or Admin of an organization workspace, you are responsible for managing team member access, including promptly removing members who should no longer have access. AppWrapp, LLC is not liable for actions taken by team members you have invited.

6.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Abuse the Service (e.g., uploading 10,000+ receipts per hour, scraping data, using bots).
• Engage in fraudulent activity or payment disputes (chargebacks).

7.1 Your Ownership

You retain full ownership of all receipts, expense data, and files you upload to Receipto.

7.2 License to Us

By using the Service, you grant AppWrapp, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Store, process, and display your receipts and data.
• Use third-party AI services to parse and extract information.
• Generate reports and exports for your use.

This license exists solely to operate the Service and ends when you delete your data or account.

7.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload:

• Illegal, fraudulent, or stolen receipts.
• Content that violates third-party intellectual property rights.
• Malicious files (viruses, malware).

8.1 AI Accuracy

Receipt extraction is powered by third-party AI services and is not 100% accurate.

• Errors May Occur: Merchant names, amounts, dates, or categories may be misidentified.
• Your Responsibility: You must review and verify all extracted data before relying on it for tax filing, accounting, or business decisions.

8.2 No Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• Receipt data will be extracted without errors.
• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• AI models will improve or remain available.

9.1 Unlimited Receipts

Paid plans with "unlimited" scans are subject to fair use:

• Reasonable Use: Intended for normal business or personal expense tracking.
• Abuse: Uploading excessive receipts (e.g., 10,000+ per hour), using automated scripts, or commercial resale of the Service is prohibited.

9.2 Right to Throttle or Ban

We reserve the right to:

• Throttle or rate-limit accounts that abuse the Service.
• Suspend or terminate accounts engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

10.1 Service Provided "as-is"

Receipto is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of receipt data or AI extraction.

10.2 Liability Cap

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Receipto is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (or $50 USD if no payment was made).

10.3 No Liability for Consequential Damages

AppWrapp, LLC is not liable for:

• Lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
• Tax penalties, audit failures, or IRS/HMRC issues.
• Errors in AI extraction or exported reports.
• Third-party service outages or failures.

10.4 Jurisdictions That Prohibit Limitations

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability. If these laws apply to you, the above limitations may not apply.

12.2 AI Providers

OpenAI: Receipt images and text are processed by OpenAI's API for data extraction. We opt out of data training. openai.com/policies/terms-of-use

12.3 Analytics and Session Replay

12.4 Infrastructure and Operations

12.5 Subscription Management

16.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion:

• Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
• Active subscriptions will not be refunded (see Section 5).

16.2 By Us

We may terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Abuse the Service or engage in fraudulent activity.
• Fail to pay subscription fees.

17.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17.2 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Receipto shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except:

• Small claims court disputes.
• Intellectual property disputes.

Arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Delaware.

17.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes with AppWrapp, LLC on an individual basis only. You waive the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative actions.

18.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AppWrapp, LLC.

18.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

18.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

18.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms to another party. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor company (e.g., in the event of a merger or acquisition).
